William Wilson is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. After receiving his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Tennessee Tech University, he practiced as a Registered Nurse for 4 years in the Emergency Department at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. While working as an RN, he pursued a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University specializing in Family Medicine. After graduating, he was selected to be in the first Fellowship for Nurse Practitioners that Vanderbilt offered and is currently working as a Fellow while serving as a representative on the Fellowship Advisory Committee.
Will is originally from Jamestown, Tennessee where he has an amazing family. He has lived in Cookeville since 2010 and has made Cookeville his home with his wife, baby boy, and their two dogs. In his spare time, he loves to exercise, play golf, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
Will believes in empowering and encouraging his patients to take control of their own health through a holistic approach to medicine. He takes pride in listening to his patients to find a complete solution for their health concerns. He looks forward to serving the community he loves as a provider at Innovative Family Care.
